When in New York be a ´New Yorker´ ...and as much as I (personally dislike coffee) there is something called the Coffee Factor around here. Knowing where to get GOOD coffee in town is a social code, an obligation and what distinguishes you from everyone else.
NOLITA, (stands for North of Little Italy) my newest favorite neighborhood downtown has got it: Nolita Mart & Espresso Bar, a great gourmet market and coffee Bar.
Using only local products, each cup of fresh coffee is hand-poured from Brooklyn´s finnest Stumptown and beans are weighed and brewed individually and specially for you. Even I enjoyed one, with steamed milk from local Battenkill Valley Creamery, crème de la crème!
