CLIP OF THE DAY: Hip, Chic & Cheap

Today's clip is something I get asked frequently by friends and CONNECT members: a  hip, chic and cheap place to stay in New York - and believe it or not it is not easy to find, especially ones that are in cool neighborhoods, including rooftop views, central air-conditioning, full-time house keeping or even high-end shampoos... (yes, members ask me that). Well, get your paperclips ready and keep this one in file: The Bowery House, the newest hot spot between trendy NoLiTa and the Lower East Side. I'm talking Ralph Lauren towels, 300-thread-count sheets, lounge with leather Chesterfield sofas,  hip bar, commissioned artwork,  rooftop with panoramic views for only $62 a night. As if all that wasn't enough, its also a great spot to 'connect' as most guests are the cool international creative type by 80 per cent with an average age of mid 30's. (we like that) - In all, perfect timing for anyone planning a short and unexpensive trip to New York around Thanksgiving holiday.
