Few months ago, I placed a red clip on one of my "Travel + Leisure" magazines, under: "Caribbean tips". The name that got my attention? John Greer, the owner of "Unusual Villa Rentals" - exclusive houses and private island rentals ranging from 1.000 to as much as 50.000 dollars a week. John is also the Jolie-Pitts favorite connection when it comes to hidding away from the world for some family quality time . Some rentals include Yacht and crew others come with a helicopter (don't get put off, you can still find "afordable" places too). Funny enough last month a group of my friends from London, were exchanging emails for our next trip and that website came up again, so evidently I had to Clip about it and share it with you. Despite the rather "poor" website presentation and design, this is an address that you want to have in mind next time you are planning your holidays. If a picture is worth a thousand words than there is nothing else to Clip, to me the above image is just perfect. Speaking of travelling, I'm clipping from Lisbon airport, boarding to Rio de Janeiro in exactly 30 mins, so stay tunned for the latest on Brazil this week!

ReplyDeleteBe careful with John. He has the best houses, but I am waiting since 3.5 months for getting back my 4.000$ deposit for a nice house which we rented in Miami in April.

ReplyDeleteOK, positivly surprised, now after 6 months he finally paid back the deposit last week. He obviously had some problems but looks like that he got it someway solved.
